Learning How to Write
We all have to learn from somewhere right? Truthfully in my every day non author job, I don’t write as much as I want to. I have a technical writing background which enables me to write documentation so that the average user is able to navigate something technical, but when I started writing fiction when the pandemic started, I realized I didn’t know how to write fiction. Not from a grammatical standpoint, not even from a chapter standpoint. I didn’t know where to stop. Truthfully I still don’t. I thank the gods every day for editors, for people who know more than me, for books that tell me to slow my roll.
So I wrote a book during the pandemic, and people thought it was cute. Someone thought it was nice enough to be published, but not without a lot of heavy duty spit shine. So that’s where I am at now. I am in the process of reverse engineering this book so that it is professional, that I am not out here looking like I don’t know how to write at all. The truth of the matter is, I know how to write. I wrote so well that a bunch of people enjoyed my words and have demanded more. I just want it to be the best product I can give them. There is nothing wrong with that, is there?

Don’t anyone discourage you from publishing your book! I don’t write as much but I need too! This post just motivated me

Hi. I’d be interested in knowing more about the book you wrote during the pandemic. Is there a summary of the book anywhere online?

The book is being published and will be available next year. I’ll be keeping everyone posted on the blog as well as in the discord.
